What is AutoPay?

AutoPay is a function that pre-authorizes UTGL to automatically execute a card account repayment instructions on your behalf whenever the card account outstanding balance is due. All you need to do is maintain sufficient assets in the account. Card repayments will be made on your behalf automatically. If there are insufficient assets to repay the total outstanding balance, you will receive an email reminder to inject assets into your account to avoid interest charges.

How does AutoPay work?

Once the AutoPay function is enabled, UTGL will be pre-authorized to execute a card account repayment instructions on your behalf. The instruction will be processed daily at 11:00 pm HKT.

How can I enable AutoPay?

You can enable AutoPay in a few simple steps:

1. Click on 'Turn on Autopay' on the Card overview page.

2. When the AutoPay instruction page appears, click 'Add/Remove Asset'.

3. Once the popup appears, select the asset(s) you wish to use for balance settlement in the list, click 'Apply'.

4. Then, arrange the order of your assets to prioritize them for balance settlement by dragging each row upward/downward, then click 'Apply' to turn on AutoPay.

Manage AutoPay

Once activated, you can always rearrange the assets' order or disable AutoPay in the future by clicking on 'Manage AutoPay' on the Card Overview page.

*Note:

When a non-HK account is used, the balance will be automatically repaid with the currency at the prevailing exchange rate from the account.

My AutoPay payment did not go through. What should I do?

If your AutoPay fails to be processed, the payment will be deferred until the next day with no interest incurred.
